  4. Shipping and handling - Since these are heavy appliances, you will need to arrange delivery and handling unless you live in a house with many people. Especially if you're ordering online and living in a high rise apartment, you may need to pay extra to get it delivered to your place.
  5. Warranty - This may not be a concern for most of you, because many manufacturers provide at least a one year warranty on manufacturer's defects. However, if you're planning to relocate overseas anytime soon, you may need to think about international warranties and service centers - because only major brands such as LG, Samsung, Electrolux and Haier offer this.

Most devices do not operate at the optimal efficiency if it is not given the required ventilation to exhaust air. However most newer devices are more efficient because the manufactures have noticed the issue and have made efforts to minimize the negative effects.

If you are not really concerned about the space saving of a washer dryer combo, you will be better off buying a stackable or separated washer and dryer set. Of course, it will require more space, and air ventilation has to be arranged, but it will save you energy, time and it will be good for long-life of your clothes.
